Install the macOS Control

The macOS Control is the component you use to connect with your Agents. Install it on any macOS device where users need to interact with Agents.

Note: You can deploy the 247connect macOS Control to macOS devices using the Jamf Pro MDM tool. For full instructions, see Deploy the macOS Control using Jamf Pro.

System requirements

Operating system: macOS Monterey version 12 or above.

Disk space: 220MB

Download and install the macOS Control

  1. In the 247connect Web Portal, go to Account > Installers in the side menu.

  2. Select the Control installers tab.

  3. Click macOS.

  4. Download the .pkg from the Apple App Store.

  5. Open the Downloads folder and double click the 247connect Control.pkg.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
