Installation

To connect and interact with managed devices, a Managed Agent must be installed on each device and a Control on the operator's machine that will run remote control sessions.

Note: To interact with on-demand devices, an On-demand Agent is installed on the user's device for the duration of the on-demand session.

Choosing what to install

  1. In the 247connect web portal, go to Account > Installers in the side menu.

  2. The display area shows two tabs:

    • Managed Agent installers: Here, you'll find the Managed Agent installation files for the supported platforms (currently Windows).

    • Control installers: Here, you can download the Windows Control installation files.

Note: When you install Managed Agents, they appear in the Unassigned device group. Go to Managed > Unassigned in the side menu. You can now move them to the required device group. Once assigned to a device group, they are licensed and you can connect and interact with them.
