Installation

To connect and interact with managed devices, a Managed Agent must be installed on each device and a Control on the user's machine that will run remote control sessions.

Note: To interact with on-demand devices, an On-demand Agent is installed on the end user's device for the duration of the on-demand session.

Choosing what to install

  1. In the 247connect Web Portal, go to Account > Installers in the side menu.

  2. The display area shows two tabs:

    • Managed Agent installers: Here, you'll find the Managed Agent installation files for the supported platforms (Windows, macOS and Android).

    • Control installers: Here, you can download the Control installation files for the supported platforms (Windows and iOS).

When you install Managed Agents, they appear in the Unassigned device group in the 247connect Web Portal. Go to Managed > Unassigned in the side menu. You can now move them to the required device group. Once assigned to a device group, they are licensed and you can connect and interact with them.
