Using the Control

The 247connect Control is the tool used to interact with Managed and On-demand Agents. It provides access to key remote support tools, enabling you to view the end user's screen, transfer files, chat, send messages, run remote commands and scripts, monitor system activity and edit the Windows registry.

Note: The 247connect Control component must be installed on the user's machine to use these features.

Available features:

  • View: Remotely view the end user’s screen to assist with troubleshooting or provide support.

  • Transfer files: Send or receive files between both devices during the session.

    Note: File transfer is supported only on Windows and Android Agents.
  • Chat: Open a live chat window to communicate directly with the end user.

  • Send a message: Send quick, one-way messages.

  • PowerShell: Run remote commands and scripts directly on a Windows managed device.

  • Task Manager: Monitor and manage running applications, processes, servicesand drivers on a Windows managed device.

  • Registry Editor: Access and edit the registry on a Windows Agent.
