Enable accessibility for the Android Managed Agent

To provide full accessibility when you remote control an Android device, you must enable accessibility permissions for the 247connect Agent in Android settings.

Grant accessibility access to the 247connect Agent

  1. Open the 247connect Agent app.

  2. The first time you open the 247connect Agent app, an Accessibility Settings prompt appears, tap Go to Settings. If you dismissed the prompt during installation, tap the Settings Cog. icon and turn on the Accessibility Remote Control toggle.

Android app Settings screen showing Dark Mode and Accessibility Remote Control toggles, account information, device name, organisation, IP address, and app version details.

  3. The Accessibility settings open automatically. If they do not, go to Accessibility > Installed apps or Downloaded apps (the name may vary by device).

Android Settings with Accessibility open, showing options including 247connect Agent under Downloaded apps.

  4. Select 247connect Agent.

  5. Turn on Use 247connect Agent. When prompted, tap Allow to grant full control of the device.

Pop-up asking to allow 247connect Agent full control of the device, with options to Allow, Deny, or Uninstall.

  6. Exit the settings.

The device now has full accessibility permissions and supports remote control through 247connect.

Note: If you cannot enable accessibility for the 247connect Agent, check that restricted settings are enabled for the app in Android settings. This may be required on some devices or if the app was not installed from the Google Play Store.
